  THE SIGHT» Having the sight, as it has been desribed to him, makes Adrien extremely sensitive to magical energies and supernatural presences. It also makes him vulnerable, however, as he doesn't have the same resistance to these energies as someone with actual magical abbilities would have. To put it simply, his body is not wired to handle the pressure. This also means that he has little to no control over his so-called gift, which makes it rather hard for him to live an ordinary life. Whether the cause is the car crash or simply the fact that his gift seems to be growing rapidly is unknown. If exposed to certain magical energies or very powerful spirits he will have a hard time staying focused and will almost seem completely detached from his surroundings. He also suffers from spontaneaus headaches and migranes, as well as dizzy-spells and the occasional nose-bleed.
  Over the years, Adrien has learned to somewhat control his ability. He is able to see things that have happened at certain places or to specific people, but he has to be in direct contact with something or someone present at the time. He is also able to track people and items, but he needs something tangible to do so. He has made it into a sort of second income. By having some contacts in law inforcement he has sometimes been asked to help identify bodies, track down missing people or the likes - discretely, of course.

  ▪ Adrien was born and raised in New Orleans.
  
  ▪ He tries to avoid sounding too Southern, despite having grown up there. Once in a while he will revert back into a Southern drawl if he's tired, intoxicated or under a lot of pressure.
  
  ▪ He can trace his family back to the Puritan colony of Salem, Massachusetts. There is a very small amount of witch-blood running in his veins.
  
  ▪ His bachelor in Social Work was focused on at-risk children and adolescents. He has primarily worked at shelters and housings, often dealing with kids involved with crime or coming from abusive homes.
  
  ▪ Adrien is a dog-person, but is also allergic to them.
  
  ▪ He has a complete lack of interest in horror movies, except those really low-budget ones you stumble upon when deep-diving on Netflix.
